Trak Global launches Appy Fleet to disrupt the traditional fleet telematics market, a smartphone-based, fully functional solution with low monthly subscription costs.
Carrot Insurance received the International Road Safety Award from Prince Michael of Kent, in recognition of reducing accident frequency amongst young drivers by 42%.
This new insurance product and mobile app was launched to challenge drivers who wanted an affordable insurance policy and the opportunity to prove their driving ability and behaviour. Aimed at the more experienced driver, this product enabled improved customer experience, including cash rewards for safe driving behaviour.
Carrot collects ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Modern Claims Awards 2015 in recognition of how its telematics technology has improved the claims experience for its young drivers.
After a period of rapid growth, Trak Global and Carrot moved to a new corporate headquarters, Global House.
Carrot partnered with FCA to launch a bundled proposition with inclusive insurance to help brand new drivers get into the UK’s most popular small car.

One year on from its launch, Carrot scooped the ‘Best Customer Experience’ category at the Insurance Technology Awards 2013 against more established competition.
Autocar Start was a revolutionary programme designed to give young drivers a safer start on the UK’s roads. A bundled proposition that combined driving tuition, a brand new smart car and Carrot Insurance.

Carrot Insurance entered the UK young driver insurance market with a view to incentivising its policyholders to stay safe through the provision of cash rewards.
